Andrew, I met your grandmother Mrs. Summers and Mother on a return flight from Israel. Your Grandmother was a very special lady and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. Ashley, Carol, and I went through your study on worry this morning. We talked through the worries that we are having this week and some worries about the baby. We had a great time talking through what God says about worry and how we can trust in Him to take that worry away. Thanks for the great study!

Great study on worry, Phil. 4:6-7 is a great passage to come back to when the stress of the world gets to you. I am going to meditate on this verse and look over the others as Ashley and I get closer to the birth of our first child.

I like the idea of meditation a lot. One thing that helps me is listening over and over - I just wrote a post about this practice here. I also find it useful when you're preparing for a whole-book bible study - it gives you a good idea of the scope.
