Jesus is there in the midst of trials and storms of life.  In fact, for his children, he plans them!  This is a crazy thought when you are hurting, but it also is very comforting.  But it is true, God uses the trials and storms in our life to draw us close to him and show us that he is all we need!  This study below is a study on the passage in Luke when Jesus calms the storm.  It is based off our sermon text from this past week, but it is not necessary that you have listened to the sermon to get anything out of it.  In fact, I designed it to be used for both individuals or groups who have or have not listened to the sermon.  Enjoy!
