“Lord, keep our hearts soft toward your Word.”  This should be a prayer of our lives each day!  When we meditate on the gospel of Jesus Christ and the grace of God, our eyes are opened to center our lives on what He has done and not on our works.  The parable of the four soils in Luke 8 talks about the different heart attitudes toward God’s Word–hard, shallow, crowded, and faithful.  Take time to read this passage and use this short study below to dig into the text and how you can apply it to your life.  You don’t have to have listened to the sermon to do the study, but you can also find it at http://www.parkviewchurch.org if you would like to dig in more!
